This was lunch two weeks ago!
Food waste from the students' lunches in LSY is now being made into great compost. In just two weeks, food waste is turned into a rich black compost. We leave the compost to mature for a month or two and then it's ready to use. What was a waste product creating a stink in Tseung Kwan O landfill is now ready to help grow more plants!
